Memorial Fund for Ilana


As a tribute to Ilana, through the American Friends of Soroka, we have established a fund in her name at the Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva, Israel. Many members of our family were born in Israel and Ilana had strong ties to Israel, having spent many summers there visiting our extended family. We have chosen the Soroka Hospital because the facility pursues important research into breast cancer seeking to expand our knowledge of early diagnosis, treatment and prevention. It also services a very large underserved population in southern Israel. A project at Soroka's breast cancer research center is going to be established in Ilana's memory.
